Challenge:  

Royal Bank of Canada [RBC] was looking for a turn-key solution to support their annual RBC Olympic Training Ground sponsorship program.  Their previous campaigns consisted of mainly online components to house the program information and an in-branch pen and paper registration for the events across Canada.  It was very difficult for all branches to coordinate their programs without utilizing third party vendors.  With so many different events, RBC wanted a simple interface to collect leads and give their customers a VIP sponsorship experience.

Solution:

As the Professional Services Manager at Limelight Platform, I put together a simple app using creative from the previous year's events.  The app consisted of exercise tutorials, player stats, information on the Olympic sponsored athletes and a custom photo feature with a selection of various branded overlays.  Attendees could enter their own stats as they progressed through the event in order to compete for the winning title.  Branded, triggered emails were sent to attendees with personalized, contextual messaging that allowed users to post to their social media outlets and promote the event.  All elements of the app captured user data in a visual dashboard on the backend of Limelight Platform where RBC could view all event data across Canada in one place.  RBC was then able to use this data to compare all events and measure what elements of their campaign were successful.
