Challenge:
Corsica Equipment Inc. is a specialized B.C. based equipment rental company supplying tools for vineyards and orchards. With little to no branding, Corsica was starting from the ground up and required a website that made orchard supplies exciting. They had an idea of the type of look and feel they wanted, but needed some direction in terms of differentiating themselves from the local market.
Solution:
Working at Big Bear Software as the Senior Graphic Designer, I collaborated with the owners of Corsica Equipment Inc. to create a brand strategy which included solidifying a colour scheme, locking down branding elements, website mockups and putting together standards for their new direction. The 5 page website featured an interactive products page where users can view more about the equipment including product specs, kit variations and information about the different brands provided. It was important to the owners to showcase the products by brand. We set the site up with an online portal so users could easily rent their equipment online vs calling in to reserve. This eliminated the once manual process and allowed Corsica to gain a user base.
